CNWL

Community Alcohol Team:

Service Description	• Specialist healthcare interventions for clients with alcohol related problems • Medical assessment and specific pharmacotherapy for alcohol related problems • Individual keyworking/care co-ordination • Psychosocial therapies • Provision, supervision and monitoring of community/home detoxification • Therapeutic Group Interventions • Maternal Liaison Service • Blood Borne Virus Service • Dual diagnosis work/links, liaison and joint working with local Mental Health Services work • Health promotion and education • Liaison, consultation, advice and training to other professionals and services

DAAP

DAAP - Drug and Alcohol Action Programme:

Service Description	• Outreach provision of alcohol, drug and Khat education • Focused work with women • Focused work with Black and minority ethnic communities • Low threshold one to one support in English and south Asian languages • Support for families, carers and significant others of drug and alcohol users • Signposting to services
